

As a result of the country’s situation, Public Spaces turned from open, public areas, to shared spaces within private properties.




PUBLIC SPACE IS NO LONGER PUBLIC. In the wake of an unprecedented political and economical revolution in Venezuela, insecurity has led to the deterioration of public areas, becoming neglected and impoverished spaces, and the privatization of public programs, confined into high-rise buildings and disconnected from urban life. Thus, public space has become an expression of the social gap.
